Driving Success in the Finance and Accounting Environment

Our client is a global industrial market leader with a three digit million € annual revenue. Since its foundation the company has grown strongly and is publicly listed. The company is characterized by an international and growth-oriented corporate culture, a clear strategy and ambitious goals for the future. 

The task

  • Management of the Finance & Accounting team in Germany to effectively support the globally operating entities
  • Ensuring service quality, process efficiency, compliance, and alignment with corporate financial policies and deadlines
  • Ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing (local GAAP and IFRS)
  • Being a strategic counterpart for the management team to develop the business with a long-term perspective 
  • Support the preparation and management of the annual budgets for the business
  • Ensuring and taking an active role in the acquisition of potential additional companies and its subsequent integration


Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field. Master’s or MBA preferred 
  • 8-10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting including leading teams
  • Experience in an industrial company or in a leading auditing or consulting firm (e.g. E&Y, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG)
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, etc.)
  • Experience in working with multinational teams or in a global matrix organization
  • Good understanding of the business of an industrial company in the area of product / component business 
  • Business acumen and very good problem-solving abilities
  • Private location in the Greater Ulm area / Bodensee region or willingness to relocate
