Our client is a globally operating, German family-owned industrial company and a leading manufacturer of high-quality technical consumables for industrial and professional applications. With around 2,500 employees in more than 30 international subsidiaries and several production sites, the company generates annual revenues of over EUR 250 million. Due to a retirement-related succession, we are seeking a Managing Director Hungary with focus on sales and business development.

The task

  • Managing the sales subsidiary and driving revenue and market share growth in Hungary
  • Full responsibility for revenue and P&L
  • Developing a growth-oriented sales strategy for the Hungarian market, with a strong focus on e-commerce and specialized retailers
  • Personally managing key strategic accounts
  • Gaining market share by expanding the customer base, deepening relationships with key accounts, and building partnerships with specialized retailers
  • Planning and executing new product launches in the local market
  • Implementing marketing activities (trade fairs, industry events, etc.)


Your profile

  • Technical degree or degree in Business Administration, MBA would be an adventage
  • Sound experience in sales and key account management
  • Strong excellence in selling technical products through specialized dealers and direct sales channels (B2B) 
  • Experience in power tools, hand tools, fixings, adhesives, or other technical consumables 
  • Entrepreneurial and passionate sales personality with conceptual strength
  • Excellent communication skills along with strong analytical skills
  • Cooperative and motivational leadership style
  • Very good skills in English and Hungarian
  • Trustworthy personality living in close to Budapest or willing to relocate
