Our client is an internationally active, midsize industrial technology company headquartered in Europe. The company develops and manufactures advanced systems and solutions for demanding machine building applications across a broad range of industries. Its success is built on strong engineering expertise, high product quality, and long-standing customer relationships worldwide. To accelerate the growth of its U.S. business, we are seeking an entrepreneurial and commercially driven Managing Director USA (m/f/d).

The task

  • Assume full responsibility for the U.S. subsidiary, including strategy, commercial performance, people, operations, and day-to-day execution
  • Develop and implement a focused growth strategy with the objective of significantly expanding the company’s U.S. business
  • Drive sales personally by acquiring new customers, developing key accounts, and strengthening existing relationships nationwide
  • Expand the company’s presence in medical, electrical, connector, and other technically demanding plastics applications
  • Develop the local sales and service organization, establish scalable processes, and foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture
  • Serve as the central liaison with the European headquarters, providing reliable reporting, forecasts, and market intelligence while supporting global key account initiatives


Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a comparable discipline; equivalent industry experience will also be considered
  • Proven leadership experience in a small or midsize industrial organization, combined with a visible and hands-on management style 
  • Demonstrated success in technical B2B sales, business development, customer acquisition, and the expansion of key accounts and territories 
  • Relevant industry expertise in injection molding, plastics processing, or closely related technologies
  • Entrepreneurial, commercially driven personality with strong technical credibility, sound judgment, and the ability to connect U.S. and European business perspectives 
  • Willingness to travel extensively, authorization to work in the United States, and residence in the Great Lakes region or willingness to relocate
